Steve Kuclo is MR. USA!

On July 30, 2011 in Las Vegas Nevada the best amateur athletes this country has to offer gathered together to compete in the NPC USA Championships.  A few gifted athletes would leave with their newly attained professional status, and one man would leave with the title of MR. USA.  With 690 competitors in Las Vegas for the weekend this was THE biggest USA Championship of all time.  As many quality competitors as there were there that weekend no one actually “competed” against Metroflex Plano member Steve Kuclo.

From the moment Steve stepped on stage it was his contest.  I was fortunate enough to be able to support my brother-in-iron there in person and I can honestly say it was one of the most lop sided contest I have ever attended. Not because there was a lack of quality competition, because this was a great contest, but because Steve was just on a whole different level.  His size, symmetry, and jaw dropping conditioning could not be matched by any amateur in this country and left many bodybuilding fans saying that he could stand toe to toe with just about any professional.  Steve has been competing for 7 years now, and is one of the hardest working individuals in the sport.  What he has accomplished at such a young age is unheard of in this sport and he is surely going to be one of the greats in this sport.
